Faded Rose began as a study in my art journal, drawn while watching a rose begin to fade. It was a quiet way of recording the flower not at its height, but at a different stage of its life—when the petals loosen, the colours soften, and a different kind of character emerges.
This A4 print is a reproduction of that original journal page. I have kept the quiet, hand-drawn quality of the study, including the small presence of a spider among the petals, to bring a piece of that focused observation into your own home.
