Sometimes we discard them; sometimes, with a little attention, we begin to see them differently.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eAt just under 6 cm tall, this is a particularly small and lovely object. It can still sit on a desk as an inkwell, but I also like the idea of giving it another life as a tiny vessel for a few fading garden flowers, a single stem or something gathered on a walk. The green glass catches the light beautifully, while its bubbles and irregularities remain part of what makes it interesting.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eIt is equally lovely left empty on a shelf, windowsill or desk — a small object with a previous life and a story we can only partly know.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eApproximately just under 6 cm tall.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThis is an old piece and shows the irregularities, marks and signs of age that give it its character. The uneven rim is particularly noticeable and is part of the piece rather than something I have attempted to disguise.
